Greater Saphenous Vein Aneurysm: Case Report
نویسندگان
چکیده
BACKGROUND: Venous aneurysms are rare vascular pathology. They were first described by Sir Wiliam Osler in 1915 and thereafter Harris 1928. Aneurysm on greater saphenous vein is mostly asymptomatic or they responsible for no more than local discomfort, pain, tenderness it detected when patients referred the treatment evaluation of a femoral inguinal hernia soft-tissue masses. CASE PRESENTATION: We presented case 64-year-old man admitted to hospital elective surgical aneurysm. Computed tomography angiography showed an aneurysmatic change right lower leg with dimension aneurismae 41 × 40 39 mm. After diagnostic examination was finish, there indication treatment. The patient successfully operated non-postoperative complications. CONCLUSION: indications superficial venous presence symptoms, risk thrombosis, compression nearby structures, commonly esthetic problems. Surgical choice reducing problems has excellent results if not any other pathologies.

Saphenous vein graft aneurysm: A case report
BACKGROUND Saphenous vein graft aneurysms (SVGAs) are rare seen issues after coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) operation which may lead to major complications including compression of adjacent structure, myocardial ischemia, rupture, and even death. CASE REPORT We report a patient with recurrent SVGA and its treatment by percutaneous intervention with a covered stent, the diagnostic and tre...
متن کاملGreater saphenous vein anomaly and aneurysm with subsequent pulmonary embolism
Venous aneurysms often present as painful masses. They can present either in the deep or superficial venous system. Deep venous system aneurysms have a greater risk of thromboembolism. Though rare, there have been case reports of superficial aneurysms and thrombus causing significant morbidity such as pulmonary embolism. We present a case of an anomalous greater saphenous vein connection with a...
متن کاملRuptured saphenous vein graft aneurysm.
Ruptured saphenous vein graft (SVG) aneurysm is a rare source of significant morbidity and mortality. SVG is a common technique of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), but vein graft aneurysm and ruptured SVG aneurysm have not received the required attention as only few case reports exist. We present the case of a 50-year old man with ruptured vein graft aneurysm who had significant postoper...
متن کاملAneurysm of the accessory saphenous vein: A rare case
Venous aneurysms are rare entities observed in neck, thorax, extremity, and abdominal veins. Although the exact etiology is unknown, trauma to vessel wall, inflammation, congenital anomalies, and local degenerative changes are implicated. Venous aneurysms may be thrombosed and lead to thromboembolic events, acute pulmonary embolism, and death. Resection of the aneurysm is the general preferred ...
متن کاملA rare anatomical variation of the greater saphenous vein. Case report.
The venous system has frequent anatomical variations. A good understanding of the venous anatomy is very important and proper evaluation of the venous system is crucial for the appropriate treatment of venous disorders. There are many variations of the greater saphenous vein at the level of the thigh, knee and leg. All variations of the saphenofemoral junction reported in the literature refer t...
